Mod About You takes its name from the bold graphic energy of mid-century modern design, and from the affection we feel for the things we choose to keep. In this vertical composition from The Things We Keep collection, dark contour lines build a shelf-like grid that holds everyday objects pared down to their essential shapes. Teacups stack quietly in the lower right. Arched vessels, rounded jars, and slender botanical stems rise through the compartments. Bright red and pink orbs pop up like blossoms or keepsakes caught mid-glance.
The palette moves between cornflower and periwinkle blues, sage and deep forest greens, and soft blush pink, with flashes of coral red that pull the eye across the surface. Some forms stay within their cells while others spill over the lines, creating a playful tension between order and spontaneity, very much in the retro-modern spirit of the title. Part stained glass, part curio cabinet, and part love letter, Mod About You celebrates the familiar objects that make a space feel like ours.
