Frequently Asked Questions
Do you do commissions?
I’d love to chat with you about a possible commission! I also have lots of pieces that are either finished or in the works, and I’m happy to show you what I have “in stock.” If you see something you like on my website or Instagram, please let me know ASAP or consider subscribing to my mailing list so you’re the first to know about my new work. Commissions normally take between 4-8 weeks. I will collaborate with you throughout the process and provide 2-3 updates once the piece is underway.
What medium do you use?
I use only professional-grade acrylic paint and archival substrate and media. For finishing, I also use an isolation coat to to unify and protect the surface, then I apply two layers of water-based mat or satin varnish. Any additional media will be listed in the notes below each painting.
Will my painting be ready to hang?
Yes! Original paintings are strung with hanging wire and hooks and will be ready to hang in your favorite place!
How do I pay for one of your pieces?
You can purchase with a credit card through my online shop.
How long does it take for a piece to arrive?
After finishing layers are applied, drying can take 1-2 weeks before a piece is completely ready to be shipped. For orders within the U.S., expect a 2-3 week turnaround.
How will my painting be shipped?
Each piece is lovingly wrapped in archival materials. I then use a professional shipping service that will custom wrap your original art in bubble wrap with heavy duty cardboard and foam board for added protection. All pieces are insured and I will send tracking information as soon as a piece is shipped.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, I ship to any country in the world!
